Hobbies

This is how I spent my Saturday: No baby leave the socks on, Crossfit throwdown.
Don’t know the results yet, I suspect I was in the middle of the pack.

It was a long day of blisters, bruises, sore muscles, sun burn, and fun!

Not every day can be spent in the lab or in the field.

What do you do to loosen up after a hard day/week of science?

  1. Let’s just say, I can’t talk about. Okay, it’s fight club, but don’t tell anyone. Okay, it’s really video games.

  2. I’ve heard of horse power but that really is girl power – impressive.
I wonder how many, in equivalent terms, a girl bull-ant could pull?

  3. That’s my girl! Yeah Baby!

    • You set a high bar!

Out of 66 women who were able to do all the workouts as prescribed (some had to modify or drop out)… I was 30th. Not bad for a skinny girl in a lifting competition!
